The Role:

The Membership Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our membership processes. This role focuses on managing membership payment rejects, coordinating with our debt collection partner, and maintaining accurate member records. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

We are looking for a Membership Administrator to join us in transforming our business from 'good' to 'great'! This is a thrilling time for our company, and we need a key team member like you to help us achieve unprecedented success.

What does the role involve?

  • Monitor and manage rejected membership payments.
  • Contact members to resolve payment issues where appropriate.
  • Prepare and submit overdue accounts for debt collection regularly.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate membership records in the CRM system.
  • Generate reports on payment rejections and debt submissions for internal review.
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Customer Relations teams to ensure seamless processes.
  • Liaise with external debt collection partners to provide required documentation and updates for effective debt recovery.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to members regarding account issues.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience while addressing sensitive payment-related matters.
  • Ensure all actions comply with Horizon Leisure’s data protection and financial policies.

Skills and competencies:

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a membership or financial environment.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience as an administrator, working in customer relations and/or customer data management.

Experience:

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a customer, membership, or financial environment.
  • Familiarity with debt management or CRM systems is advantageous.

This role will be based at Havant Leisure Centre but will require travel to other company sites as needed.
