About the role

As one of our vital Member Service Team Members, you'll be the first point of contact for our valued members, managing inbound and outbound enquiries, providing detailed advice and support, while ensuring data integrity. Reporting to the Member Services Team Coordinator, you’ll work closely with internal departments and engage with a variety of key stakeholders, bringing a proactive attitude and a commitment to outstanding service to every interaction.

As our Member Service Team Member, you'll also :

  • Provide technical support for RACGP website enquiries and web-based training platforms, including GP Learning and online exam enrolments.
  • Perform financial tasks such as processing refunds, generating invoices, and issuing credit notes.
  • Promote RACGP membership and related products by highlighting key features and benefits to members.
  • Carry out administrative tasks including processing membership applications, deceased member notifications, resignations, reinstatements, category changes, and classified advertisement renewals.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with members and stakeholders, ideally within inbound and outbound sales environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities with a customer-focused approach. Skilled in managing difficult or dissatisfied customers with professionalism and empathy.
  • Demonstrated experience in data entry and using PC-based applications, including Microsoft Office. Able to quickly adapt to new systems, including databases and CRM platforms.
  • Highly capable of planning, organising, and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines. Comfortable managing multiple competing priorities and working both independently and collaboratively.
