Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, coordinating, and supervising the technical activities of the project (time & cost)
• Leading, supervising, and managing engineering staff.
• Monitoring and recording delivery against the agreed programme and construction methods.
• Resolving technical issues that may arise during the construction stage.
• Ensuring drawings and specification documents contain sufficient, accurate information for construction of the works before commencement.
• Ensuring that works are accurately and clearly set out before work begins. – Implementing designs and plans for the construction stage.
• Coordinating activities with the engineering team.
• Verifying Data Sheets and relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
• Managing engineering departments in tasks like research and design.
• Determining department goals and creating implementation plans.

Skills and Competence:

• BSc/BEng qualified in the stated discipline.
• Water industry projects experience.
