A leading nuclear infrastructure project seeks an MEH Engineering Integration Lead in Bristol. You will manage technical integration, collaborate with teams, and influence engineering designs to support the UK's energy policy. Location: Bristol with occasional travel to London and France (3-4 days in the office per week, hybrid working arrangements).
Employment type: Permanent full-time/part-time.
Employment basis: The role is expected to be full-time; however, we are open to discussing a more flexible or part-time approach where possible.
Salary: From £65,000, dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.

The Role
As the MEH Engineering Integration Lead, you will manage technical integration across our Technical Directorate, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC (MEH) scopes. You will support the Engineering Integration team in aligning MEH engineering efforts, ensuring consistency and clarity.
Building strong relationships with project managers and engineering teams will be key. Your expertise will guide stakeholders on engineering design contracts and support decision-making.
You will maintain close ties with Sizewell C Delivery Programmes to manage interfaces and ensure contractual outcomes support project goals.
You will develop expertise in the Sizewell C MEH Engineering replication strategy, leading in shaping, updating, and implementing engineering sequences and documentation.
You will also manage technical Project Work Requests, ensuring changes are well-understood and decisions are balanced across local and project-wide needs. Additionally, you will contribute to training development to help teams understand technical aspects of the contract.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, preferably mechanical
- Experience developing and implementing MEH engineering sequences
- Coordinated multidisciplinary design and procurement teams
- Project management, engineering, and technical coordination experience
- Strong background in mechanical, electrical, process, systems, or civil disciplines
- Skilled in managing complex projects with multiple interfaces
- Confident communicator in client and contractor settings
- Detail-oriented, persistent, collaborative, diplomatic
- Previous nuclear industry experience and chartership (or working towards it) are desirable
