About the Opportunity...

Our client is excited to offer a unique chance for a Meetings & Events Sales Manager to become part of their dynamic team.

This role is both busy and demanding, requiring a proven track record in a similar position. You will be integral to every aspect of organizing meetings, events, and conferences within their hotel, from handling initial enquiries to ensuring flawless execution on the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting, coaching and developing the sales team
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Focus on achieving business targets for revenue and occupancy.
  • Possess excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Opera Sales and/or Delphi.
  • Engage in proactive selling and effectively convert enquiries into bookings.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  • Pay attention to detail and have a thorough understanding of competitors to fully promote the facilities.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills with a positive, friendly attitude.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule, though occasional weekend work may be required to oversee weddings and events.
  • Hosting for Christmas functions in November and December.
  • Office hours follow a rota schedule, 08:30 to 18:30 - Monday to Friday.
