Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Meetings & Events Team Member to deliver high standards of service across corporate conferences and celebrations. You will greet guests with confidence, ensure their comfort, and contribute to memorable events on a busy floor.

You will work as part of a supportive events team, handle set-up, AV basics, food service, and safety compliance. If you bring energy and a guest-first attitude, Village will support your growth with training and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good teamwork and communication during busy events.
• Ability to follow brand standards and maintain guest focus.

Responsibilities

• Space & Standards: set up and service meeting/event spaces to brand specs with attention to detail.
• Tech Savvy Operations: operate AV equipment safely and smoothly for presentations.
• Food & Drink Flare: serve refreshments with confidence and upsell where appropriate.
• Pride in the House: keep spaces organized and equipment stored securely after shifts.
• Shift Safety: comply with Health and Safety, Fire Regulations, Food Safety and Licensing laws.
