Job summary

Valor Hospitality in Leeds seeks a Meetings and Events Sales Agent to manage enquiries, convert bookings and maximise revenue while delivering outstanding guest service.

You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling enquiries by phone, email and in person, conducting hotel tours, and developing lasting relationships to secure repeat business. Office-based, Monday to Friday with opportunities to expand into direct sales calls.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused, able to manage enquiries from initial contact to contract.
• Hospitality/events experience considered a plus.
• A professional, proactive approach with attention to detail.

Job description

We arelooking for a Meetings and Events Sales Agent to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in managing event bookings, maximising revenue, and providing outstanding guest service.

You will often be the first point of contact with our guests - taking them from first enquiry through to contracting. You will need to be comfortable engaging with guests on the phone, via email and face to face in the hotel.

We offer Meeting and Events in all shapes and sizes - from 2 to 100 guests, business meetingsthrough to weddings and private events.

This is role is predominatley office based in the hotel, working Monday to Friday, mainly dealing with direct enquires although in time there will be the option to expand into direct sales calls as the business needs.
