The Role:

A Meeting and Events Operative is responsible for delivering operations to ensure an excellent Guest and Member experience. The role involves supporting or performing tasks outlined within the function sheets and assisting with meeting departmental targets. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Working in all areas of Meeting and Events, including Bar, Restaurant, and Room Service
  • Welcoming guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Following cash handling procedures
  • Managing guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensuring cleanliness of work areas
  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards
  • Supporting departmental needs and team collaboration
  • Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
  • Adhering to local licensing laws
  • Being environmentally conscious
  • Assisting other departments as necessary and maintaining good working relationships
