Job Title: Meeting & Events Sales Manager

Location: Kent

I am excited to be working with this modern branded hotel and leisure group who are seeking a Meeting & Events Sales Manager to join their fun and growing team. The Meeting & Events Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering an efficient and effective booking service for meetings and events, maximising revenue, managing a team, and ensuring all requirements are handed over to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with other departments to drive standards, processes, product, and M&E revenues.
  2. Strategically manage incoming event enquiries.
  3. Follow up with existing enquiries in a timely manner to achieve high conversion rates.
  4. Manage and develop a team of M&E Sales coordinators.
  5. Create proposals, contracts, and raise invoices.
  6. Prepare and plan sales activity plans.
  7. Represent the company at networking events and host FAM trips to drive new business.
  8. Plan events and create function sheets to hand over to the operations team.

Skills and Experience

  1. Event sales and planning experience from a hotel, events venue, or hospitality background.
  2. Experience in supervising or managing an event sales team.
  3. Excellent customer service skills and great attention to detail.
