Meet and Greet Buddy

Monday 1st September - Monday 7th September (allocated shifts)

You will not be required to work more than 6 hours on a shift.

Purpose

Birmingham City University offers a Meet & Greet service for all new international and EU students arriving at Birmingham Airport.

International Office are looking to recruit a team of hard working and friendly people to be responsible for the meeting & greeting of new international/EU students at Birmingham Airport and assisting them with their onward journey to their accommodation. You will have the privilege of being one of the first university representatives some of the students meet in person therefore it is vital that you create a positive first impression of Birmingham City University.

The Meet & Greet service takes place from Monday, September 1st to Sunday, September 7th, and you must be available to work around 6 hours per day on a rota basis between 9.00am and 9:00pm.

Please DO NOT apply if you are not available to work during these times on ALL of these dates.

Full training will be provided to ensure that you are confident to deliver a positive, high quality and professional Meet & Greet service to our new international students. You will also be provided with a Meet & Greet Buddy t-shirt to wear during your shift.
