Job summary

Cure Talent Limited are partnering with an innovative medical technology company in Nottinghamshire to recruit a Software Engineer. The role focuses on transitioning research software into production-quality medical device software, working with hardware, systems and scientific teams.

You will gain exposure to regulated development, including requirements, traceability, risk management, testing and V&V, within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 3+ years' commercial software development experience.
• Experience in regulated product development (medical devices) preferred.
• Experience with requirements, traceability, testing and V&V.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain production-quality software for complex medical technology.
• Help transition existing research software into robust, compliant medical device software.
• Develop software interfacing with hardware, instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Contribute to requirements, design controls, traceability, risk management and technical documentation.
• Plan and execute software verification and validation activities, including unit and integration testing.
• Help strengthen and mature software development processes within a regulated environment.
