Job summary

Innovo Global Talent is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a pioneering medtech company in Warrington. You will design and refine injection moulded plastics and polymer components, integrating robotics and mechatronics to produce scalable, high‑performance medical devices.

You will own end‑to‑end design projects from concept to production, run prototyping and validation, select materials, and collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure designs meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product or mechanical design focusing on plastics and moulded components.
• Hands-on design, prototyping, testing, and iteration in regulated medtech or healthcare.
• Knowledge of materials properties, tolerancing, and plastics processing parameters.

Responsibilities

• Concept development, prototyping, and validation of designs.
• Materials selection and test planning for medical devices.
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners to scale prototypes into repeatable products.
• Own design projects from inception to delivery with regulatory considerations.
