Salary: £14.79 plus £1.25 Dispensing Supplement

Hours: 40 hours, working Monday to Friday from 1:30pm-10pm

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Pharmacist Manager, your overall responsibility will be to participate in the whole dispensing process. The role will also involve establishing and developing long-term relationships with customers and healthcare professionals, ensuring to always deliver courteous and effective customer service.

You will be required to assist in the delivery of all commercial pharmacy services where appropriate, including blood pressure measuring and weight management. In this role, you will be required to complete administrative records and ensure that these records are adequately maintained.

You will effectively manage pharmaceutical stock and equipment, including the administration of receiving, storing, maintaining, and issuing. You may be required to deliver healthcare advice and signpost where necessary. You will be expected to assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise when required.

Essential Qualifications

In order to be successful, you must be registered with the GPhC and be able to provide a membership number upon request. You must also have an NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent qualification and experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
