Qualifications

Medico Legal Administrator

Working for a specialist in their field, this organisation are a team of medical experts who are responsible for individual case handling. Working with solicitors, the company deal with medical negligence cases. This position is vital within the company, you will be providing administration support to the experts on a one-to-one basis, whilst working closely with the solicitors to keep all information up to date.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have worked previously within a medico legal industry. Strong administration and IT skills are essential for this role.

Monday-Friday office-based, with a view of working 2 days at home after probation.

Duties

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the expert in regards to individual cases
  • Manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls, ensuring timely responses and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to information.
  • Assist in the preparation of medical reports and documents
  • Chasing missing information from medical records/documents
  • Preparing invoicing for billing cycles
  • Support the team in project management tasks by tracking progress and deadlines.

Experience

  • Proven experience in an administrative role is preferred ideally within medico legal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.
  • Proficiency in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to analyse information critically and provide insights as required.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task management is essential.
