Qualifications
  • Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians or equivalent
  • Professional registration with the GPhC
Experience
  • Regular patient contact
  • Experience working in a busy pharmacy department in primary or secondary care
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in a hospital pharmacy department
  • Experience using JAC pharmacy computer system
  • Experience of ward-based working
  • Experience working in an Aseptic Unit
Technical Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to work methodically and accurately
  • Ability to analyze and interpret prescriptions, identify problems, and decide on appropriate actions
