Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician to join the Brent Pharmacy team at Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust, based in Park Royal. The role requires a person-centred approach with effective interpersonal and organisational skills. You will be expected to participate in the weekend and bank holiday rota following a period of induction and training.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medicines technical support for mental health services to sites such as in-patients, home treatment teams and community mental health teams.
  • Support the Brent Park Royal Pharmacy team with a focus on training and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines within the mental health services and to embed medicines optimisation systems into patient care.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous NHS hospital pharmacy experience, including mental health, would be desirable.
  • Person-centred approach with effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
