An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated technician to join our team at the Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Hospital.
We are looking to appoint a Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician to our existing team.
You should be an Accredited Checking Technician or be willing to undertake this. The post holder will have the experience in working as a Medicines optimisation Technician.
You will be working alongside a friendly multidisciplinary team both on the wards and within the pharmacy department.
You will be passionate about patient care and will be working in a patient focused pharmacy services, working closely with the ward pharmacists and the Lead Medicines Optimisation Pharmacy Technician.
The Trust has fully comprehensive Electronic Clinical Patient Record/EPMA System

The post holder will provide a medicines management service to an allocated number of wards across the Trust. This will include providing a ward top-up service, checking of Patients' Own Drugs (PODs), undertaking medicines reconciliation, one stop dispensing and having an important role in discharge counselling.
