Job summary

CHCP CIC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medicines management across services in Hull and East Yorkshire. You will provide trusted technical advice, training, and help reduce medicines-related problems in collaboration with clinical teams, patients, carers and partner organisations.

You will contribute to safe transfers of care and consistent medicines management practice, working within a dedicated medicines management team and reporting to the Pharmacy leadership.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Knowledge of medicines, relevant law and safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver training and create helpful information for colleagues
  • Complete audits and recommend practical improvements
  • Develop policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures
  • Manage your workload while working closely with pharmacists and wider teams

  • Experience of dispensing, audit work and supporting change within a team
  • Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills

Job description

Working with our medicines management team, you'll help colleagues use medicines safely and effectively, improving care for patients across our services. You'll provide trusted technical advice, support service improvements and help reduce medicines-related problems. You'll work with clinical teams, patients, carers and partner organisations.
