Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in Slough is seeking a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join the Medicines Management team. This Band 4/5 role offers 37.5 hours per week with late duty and weekend commitments, and a clear pathway to ACT accreditation as you progress.

Progression to Band 5 is possible with ACT development and specialist training across areas such as Acute Medicine, Surgery, and Oncology/Hematology.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with GPHC.
• Recognised Accredited Checking qualification.
• NVQ A1 Assessor experience or qualification.
• Leadership/management qualification to support teams.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and label prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Rotational experience across inpatient and outpatient dispensing.
• Support safe and appropriate use of medicines on wards.
• Complete accurate medication histories and reconciliations.
• Contribute to training and development across rotations.
