The Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its Pharmacy Medicines Governance team and seeks a detail-oriented governance officer. This role focuses on supporting medicines safety and governance, contributing to patient safety initiatives and offering administrative support for effective governance.
Great things are happening in our Hospital Pharmacy Services across University Hospitals Liverpool Group (UHLG). UHLG is one of largest and most complex NHS organisations in the UK, serving a large, diverse and deprived population.
Following a successful business case, we’re expanding our services at Liverpool Women’s Hospital (LWH) – and we’re thrilled to offer several new roles to support our passionate and dedicated pharmacy teams across UHLG.
We are looking for a detail orientated, organised and professional governance officer to support our medicines safety, optimisation and pharmacy governance workstreams.

The growing Pharmacy Medicines Governance team is friendly, supportive, and patient safety is at the heart of everything we do. The Pharmacy Department is large, innovative, and ever developing with lots of opportunities to progress.

The post holder will work as part of the Medicines Safety, Optimisation and Pharmacy Governance team to provide high quality support and facilitate and maintain administrative arrangements and procedures for the sound corporate governance of the Trust.
The Post Holder Will Also
