Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, plan, and deliver the operational and clinical aspects of pharmaceutical services in accordance with legislation, professional standards, and clinical requirements.
  2. Manage, motivate, and provide leadership to the pharmacy team.
  3. Advise and support consultants, clinicians, and patients on the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
  4. Ensure compliance with legislation and standards in medicine management across hospital departments.
  5. Promote a multidisciplinary, patient-focused approach to healthcare delivery.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Current member of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Significant experience in surgical patient management and pathways.
  • Experience managing a hospital pharmacy team.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with consultants and clinical teams.
  • Strong analytical skills for clinical and management problems.
  • Experience applying clinical reasoning to complex patient cases.
  • Ability to challenge and influence evidence-based practice.
  • Comprehensive knowledge across pharmaceutical subjects supported by professional and clinical expertise.
