Position: Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care Patient Care Assistant

Location: Queen Mother Hospital

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team of Patient Care Assistants, supporting our busy Emergency, Critical Care, and Medicine nursing teams. The successful candidate will be a vital part of our dynamic team of veterinarians, nurses, and students who thrive under pressure and share a passion for patient care.

This role is suitable for a friendly, hardworking, caring, and enthusiastic team player. Previous experience in an animal care environment is essential; an animal care qualification is desirable but not mandatory. Responsibilities include maintaining infection control standards, patient handling, walking, grooming, and feeding.

This position offers 35 hours per week, with evening shifts from 14:30 to 22:30 or 15:30 to 23:30, Monday to Friday.

Training and ongoing support will be provided.
