Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Medication Safety & Governance Pharmacist to join the Medicines Use, Safety, Governance and Quality team within the Pharmacy Department.

You will work with the Medication Safety Officer and the broader patient safety team to drive safe, evidence-based use of medicines and lead governance, audit and service development across the Trust.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (Masters level) and GPhC registration.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Principal Pharmacist to improve medication safety and governance across the Trust.
• Plan, develop, coordinate and audit the impact of medicines safety initiatives across the Trust.
• Support the running of the Trust Medicines Safety Committee and PSIRF agenda.
