Job description

An independent, award-winning medical communications agency is looking to add a Medical Writer or Senior Medical Writer to its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative environment and work across a diverse range of impactful healthcare projects.

About the Role

You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality, scientifically robust content across multiple therapy areas. This includes publications, slide decks, training materials, and meeting support — all crafted to engage healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.

You’ll also:

️ Act as a key contact for clients

️ Contribute to strategic communication planning

️ Liaise with KOLs and support live events

️ (For SMWs) Mentor junior writers and help shape editorial excellence

Hybrid working – 2 days per week in-office

(Options available in London, Oxford or Manchester)

What We’re Looking For

MW: 2 years'+ medical comms experience

SMW: 3+ years' medical comms experience with client-facing exposure

MSc or PhD in life sciences or related field

Strong writing and project management skills

Familiarity with ABPI, GPP and industry compliance

MUST be UK based and have previous UK MedComms agency experience

Work on high-impact projects in a supportive, forward-thinking agency

Clear progression path and continuous professional development
