We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and motivated Management Accountant who is passionate about delivering an excellent standard of work. Bringing with you an open mind to encourage different ways of working that will continuously improve the level of financial support that the finance team at CPFT provides to colleagues and other partners in the local NHS healthcare system.
You would be joining a supportive and experienced team based in Huntingdon. You would also work closely with the Directorate that the role supports. This involves attending meetings with colleagues, either virtually or face-to-face, and taking the opportunity to understand the invaluable services that the NHS offers.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a broad range of accounting experience and possess strong communication skills, including the ability to analyze, understand, and communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues.
Main duties include the timely production of monthly management accounts, forecasting, variance analysis, assisting in the costing of new service developments, and supporting the delivery of cost improvement plans.
The role also requires maintaining regular contact with budget managers to enable accurate reporting and forecasting of financial information.
