An exciting opportunity awaits for a highly organised medical support secretary to join the Complex Care team at a leading NHS Foundation Trust in Bolton. Part-time 16 hours per week. Fixed term contract for 12 months.
We are looking for a highly organised part-time medical support secretary with previous experience in a similar setting to undertake this exciting new role within the Complex Care team based at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. You will work alongside Senior Medical Secretaries and carry out clinical typing, co-ordination of patients’ medical records, and the administration of virtual ward activity amongst other general office duties.
Candidates should be articulate, capable of undertaking a demanding workload, and must be able to demonstrate a significant level of initiative. Candidates should possess advanced keyboard skills, including a high standard of word processing. Previous secretarial experience and audio typing is desirable.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise workload, and be able to work with little or no supervision. You should be able to integrate well with the existing team and have a genuine desire to provide a quality service to all patients.
The post holder will work 16 hours per week, Monday and Friday.
Interviewees will be asked to complete a typing test.
