Medical Summariser and Registration Clerk

Job Summary

Responsible for read coding relevant information into patients' electronic healthcare records on the EMIS clinical system, in line with the organisation's coding policy. Also manages the full patient registration pathway from initial registration to processing deductions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures. Provides administrative support to the multidisciplinary team as needed.

Main Duties

1. Review records and accurately produce summaries of patients' medical histories.
2. Read code data accurately on EMIS.
3. Monitor progress of summarising to meet practice targets.
4. Review clinical letters and ensure proper processing as per protocols.
5. Manage patient registrations and deductions on EMIS, ensuring data accuracy.
