Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for the position of Medical Staffing Officer. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is hardworking, with excellent organisational and communication skills, and who is a keen team player to join our team at The Royal Liverpool Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Compilation, production and distribution of all medical rotas.
  • Deal with all queries regarding rotas and on-call arrangements.
  • Monitor rotas on a daily basis to ensure appropriate levels of cover.
  • Ensure rotas are up to date with adequate and accurate medical staffing cover.
  • Coordinate and manage medical staff annual leave and study leave, processing all leave forms.
  • Keep relevant staff and departments up to date with booked leave through regular production and circulation of all leave dates.
  • Manage the use of locum doctors effectively and economically and authorise all locum payments.
  • Complete agency locum assessment forms.
  • Complete monthly SVLs for medical staff, including payments for additional duty hours.
