A healthcare provider in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated team member for secretarial support. Job summary: A vacancy has arisen within the Secretarial Team at this busy GP Training/Dispensing Practice. The successful candidate will be a well-motivated team member working with a small team, providing a high level of customer service and communication.
Main duties of the job: General secretarial support to the health professionals within the Practice. Administration and typing skills are essential and an understanding of medical terminology. EMIS Web clinical system would be advantageous and a knowledge of scanning, however full training will be given.
The vacancy is for 27.5/30 hrs, 5 days per week between 8.30-4.30. Salary depending on experience and hours £17,975 - £20,436.
We are a successful dispensing practice with the highest standards of care for approximately 16,200 patients. We have a team of over 60 staff including, GP`s, Nurses, HCA`s working along side an excellent administration and healthcare team.
Including but not limited to typing letters, reports, patient referrals. Communicate with hospitals for appointments, bookings and admissions. Monitor daily tasks sent by clinical staff.
Following up fast track hospital appointments, rejections, triages and Advice and Guidance requests.
Scanning hospital letters either paper or electronic to relevant departments/staff.
