Job Overview

We are looking for an organized and agile Medical Secretary to cover up to a year's maternity leave within our older people's team. We are a small, but supportive team, working with the multi-disciplinary teams across OPU and Stroke. We will support your learning and development within this role to build your skills and keep these services running smoothly.

Main duties of the job
  1. Provide complete medical secretarial services, including word processing, audio-typing, and producing clinical letters and documents.
  2. Organize meetings and take minutes.
  3. Liaise with MDT to help organize clinics and bookings.
  4. Take and relay telephone inquiries politely and helpfully, prioritizing issues and taking appropriate action.
