Job description

The Women and Children’s Directorate is actively keen in supporting their teams in the implementation of new digital M365 apps. We are therefore looking for a candidate who is highly engaged, approachable and keen to actively support their team in the use of new digital tools to improve productivity and assisting with smarter working. This is a full time Medical Secretary post, Monday to Thursday 0800-1600 and Friday 0800-1530 with a 30 min lunch break though this is negotiable. The post is based in the Princess Royal Maternity Building at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The postholder’s workload will be fast paced and unpredictable and it is important that you can demonstrate through experience a sound understanding of the need for discretion and diplomacy in a confidential setting. Duties include providing administrative support for Assisted Conception Consultants, managing fertility preservation requests, dealing with enquiries from patients and colleagues, audio typing and ad hoc duties as required.
