Are you an experienced Medical Secretary looking for your next challenge in a dynamic and patient-focused environment? We're working with a respected NHS service in North Wales to recruit a highly organised and proactive Medical Secretary to support a busy Health department! This is a key role within a multidisciplinary team, offering the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care and service delivery.
The RoleAs a senior member of the administration team, you'll provide a comprehensive, confidential, and high-quality secretarial service to consultants, junior doctors, specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the department and supporting the wider clinical team.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex patient pathways in line with protocols
  • Coordinating appointments, admissions, and clinical correspondence
  • Producing accurate reports and statistics to support service delivery
  • Attending and contributing to meetings, including minute-taking

What I'm Looking For

  • Proven experience in a medical secretarial or senior administrative role within the NHS or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient administration systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • Immediate availability


Location & Working Pattern

  • Based in North Wales
    - easily commutable from Chester, Wrexham, and surrounding areas
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid work may be considered following training and service needs. However, the expectation is on site.
