An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Secretary to join the Moving Well Service within Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will work closely with the Deputy Admin Lead, Consultants, other Clinical Professionals, Service Managers and operational managers to provide an efficient and responsive administration service. The post holder will be required to work on their own initiative and liaise effectively with a broad range of health and social care professional. They will be experienced in supporting the management of operational clinical services, supervising a team and maintaining staff and client confidentiality.
You will support and develop a responsive administration service having responsibility for the day to day supervision of the administrative team and in adherence to Trust policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have proven communication skills in order to formulate all the staffing rotas and ensure timely distribution. This is a key departmental post and will give the successful applicant a broad experience that is both people focused and technical.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about the challenges of working in a busy and constantly changing environment, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and to achieve strict deadlines. You will be a highly motivated individual, with the ability to motivate and influence others, suggest and implement ideas to improve team performance and efficiency and will have excellent communication skills.
