A healthcare practice in Oldbury is seeking a dedicated medical secretary to provide comprehensive administrative support to GPs. The role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in using healthcare IT systems, and the ability to work under pressure. Ideal candidates will have previous medical secretarial experience and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
To provide a comprehensive and highly efficient secretarial service to GPs and teams within the practice.
To communicate effectively with patients / carers regarding appointment and treatment related matters.
Liaise with hospitals and community services.
Main duties for the role will be to provide secretarial support within the practice, referrals, electronic workflow documents, and monitoring of 2WW.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, & others. We are a training practice supporting doctors, medical students, and student pharmacists. Our extensive team of receptionists, secretaries, and administrators ensures a friendly and supportive environment. We are looking for a new secretary who is hardworking and passionate about high-quality patient care.
The position is for 20 hours per week.
The post-holder will provide comprehensive and efficient administration and secretarial support to GPs and teams within the practice.
Effective communication with patients / carers regarding appointment and treatment matters is essential.
Working within our secretarial team, the post-holder must also independently manage and prioritize workload, collaborating closely with the team and being a team player.
