Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS), within Specialist Children and Young Peoples Service
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time (22.5 hours per week) permanent B4 Medical Secretary join our Community Eating Disorder Team. This service provides community support and hospital in-reach. This service supports young people and their families in the community to manage their condition and prevent hospital admission. They provide family based therapy in a range of settings as well as specialist clinical assessment and in-reach to paediatric and acute mental health settings.
This role will be part of the Specialist CYPS Community admin services and as a Band 4 Medical Secretary, you will provide secretarial support to the Consultant Psychiatrist and the clinical team within CEDS as well as providing admin support to other Specialist CYP community services as necessary.
Full support will be provided by experienced staff onsite and the candidate will have access to peer support. This is a senior role and the post holder would be required to assist the admin and clinical team with the day-to-day management of the workflow within the service to support and train administrative colleagues as required.
The post holder will provide a proactive, comprehensive secretarial service and support to allocated Consultant within the service.
