Role

We require a Support Medical Secretary to join our team, providing administrative and secretarial support to specialties within the Acute Services Medical Directorate.

Person specification

You should have proven secretarial and administrative experience and possess excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. You should be a competent audio typist with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of NHS waiting times is desirable; knowledge of medical terminology and NHS systems and processes would be an advantage.

Flexibility and collaboration

You are required to be a flexible and motivated individual, with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is also required.
