Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Medical Retina Co-Ordinator (Band 3) to support IVT waiting lists and administrative duties across ophthalmology services. The role involves booking, referrals, and data entry using PAS/Camis, with flexible rota and cross-site working as needed.

The post requires NHS experience, strong communication, and ability to work to timescales. Salary is £25,760–£27,476 pro rata, full-time permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• English to GCSE level A-C or equivalent.
• Supervisory qualification or evidence of attending training courses.
• Experience in clinic or administrative role is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage waiting lists and data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Manage IVT waiting lists and ensure targets are met.
• Provide outpatient/inpatient booking service using PTLs.
• Liaise with consultants, secretaries and managers.
• Use Camis to record and examine data and print reports.
• Provide reception/administration support across services.
• Work on a rota and potentially cross-site duties.
