A healthcare organization in Camberley is seeking a receptionist/administrator to assist in a busy office environment. Key responsibilities include managing patient registrations, providing support to the healthcare team, and ensuring efficient operations. Applicants should have prior office experience, be able to work well under pressure, and possess strong communication skills. This part-time role offers flexibility, requiring around 15.5 hours per week with some weekend hours.
Due to the expansion of our reception and administration team. We are looking for a receptionist/administrator to join our well-established practice in Camberley.
The role will require you to contribute to the smooth running of a busy patient-facing and back-office operation where you will be provided with an interesting, variety of work.
Previous experience working as part of a team, with members of the public and to be able to work at pace under pressure is essential for this role. Full training will be provided.
The hours required for this role are 15.5 hours per week;
Wednesday 8:00am to 13:00pm
Thursday 8:00am to 13:00pm
Friday 8:00 to 13:30pm
There will also be arequirement of Saturday working and a late evening 18:30pm to 20:00pm on a rotabasis. This will be paid at an enhanced rate. We are open 1 in 7 Saturdays.
The role is primarily reception based but with some administration duties involved. The individual will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administration duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to processing new patient registrations, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liasing with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
Camberley Health Centre offers general medical services to the population of Camberley, Surrey and the surrounding area.
We are a friendly practice, serving a diverse community of approximately 9k patient list. With a multi-disciplinary team comprising of GP's, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Healthcare assistants, Pharmacists and Pharmacy technician.
