An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and flexible Receptionist to join our busy 5 partner Practice for 20-25 hours a week.
Our practice requires highly organised and motivated individuals to provide comprehensive front of house and administrative services to support the Practice.
Applicants should have excellent customer service, organisational and computer skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience of the EMIS Web computer system would be an advantage, although full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
The ability to work well within our team and on your own initiative is essential.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
St Georges Medical Centre is a busy Practice with a population size of 9500 patients.
We have a large clinical team of 5 GP partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 1 ANP, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Health care assistants and 1 phlebotomist. We are also a training Practice and currently have 5 GP trainees at the Practice, as well as medical students.
St Georges runs a dedicated community Ophthalmology clinic on site and hosts a number of community services, such as diabetes, podiatry, orthotics and minor surgery.
At St Georges our aim is to deliver the best possible healthcare to our patients and support one another in that process. We always welcome new ideas and actively encourage fresh ways of working at all levels. We are always challenging existing work practices to ensure continuous improvement in all that we do.
