Job description

Salary on commencing this post will be £25,468.00 (pro rata)

North Glen Medical Practice is looking to welcome an experienced medical receptionist who is an enthusiastic and pro-active individual to join our friendly and supportive team.

The post is part time, working 16 hours per week over two days. It is expected that the your working days will be a Thursday and Friday however this may be subject to change depending on business requirements. There may also be a requirement to provide relief cover during periods of annual leave or sickness including for our extended hours service between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on a Monday evening.

As part of our dynamic team, you will be providing a welcoming, efficient and friendly service to our patients. Applicants with previous experience within general practice would be preferred; however consideration will be given to skills that are relevant and transferable for this position.

You will be a hardworking, reliable person with excellent communication skills, who is organised, motivated and flexible and who has the confidence and ability to work accurately under pressure within an area of high confidentiality.
