The role at a glance:
NBBJ London is seeking a Medical Planner with experience in the design and planning of complex healthcare projects including large scale hospitals. This is an opportunity to join a fully integrated design studio where a diverse group of technical architects, interior designers, medical planners and clinical consultants collaborate as a team from concept design through construction.

In your new role, you will:

  1. Design and plan hospitals and clinics
  2. Work with clients to identify objectives and formulate options
  3. Effectively participate in Clinical User Group meetings and client presentations
  4. Have proven ability to collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through to Construction

What you will need to succeed:

  1. Minimum 10+ years Medical Planning experience – complex healthcare projects of any scale
    Demonstrated excellence in design and innovation
  2. Experience in leading HC projects from briefing/concept design through construction administration
  3. Experience working in a collaborative environment with design teams, consultants, clients
  4. Skilled in leadership and management of user group engagements and development of deliverables
  5. Familiarity with issues surrounding innovative healthcare strategic planning, Medical Planning, and briefing
  6. Experience marketing HC projects
  7. Familiarity with current industry practices, trends, and innovation
  8. Revit proficient
  9. Willingness to travel
  10. Exceptional presentation skills
  11. Professional Licensure, required
  12. LEED Accreditation, encouraged
  13. Familiarity with LEAN Concepts, encouraged
  14. Familiarity with C-Sheet Process
  15. Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills
  16. Proactive and independent approach to work and ownership of assigned tasks
