Job description

Medical Photography and Illustration Manager

You will manage a team of clinical photographers, graphic designers, and administration staff, ensuring the provision of accurate, ethical, and timely visual documentation for clinical, educational, legal, and promotional purposes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Medical Illustration and Clinical Photography department, including service planning, staff development, and quality assurance. Oversee the delivery of clinical photography, video, graphic design, and multimedia services across all Trust sites. Ensure compliance with national standards, including patient consent, confidentiality, and data protection (e.g., GDPR, Caldicott principles). Collaborate with clinical teams, communications, and education departments to support patient care, training, and public engagement. Manage departmental budgets, procurement, and service contracts. Drive innovation in digital imaging, telemedicine, and visual communication technologies.
