Band 5 Medical Photographer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Medical Photographer to become part of our Medical Photography team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high quality, multidisciplinary visual media service across the Trust. This includes clinical and non-clinical photography, ophthalmic imaging (FFA and ICG), videography, graphic design and professional print production.
The post holder will deliver visual content for diagnosis, teaching, training, patient information, PR, and publication, ensuring legal, ethical, and governance standards are upheld. You will demonstrate advanced technical ability across photography, video production, and design, along with a strong patient-centred approach.

Produce high quality clinical images in accordance with IMI Guidelines.
Manage sensitive scenarios (e.g. safeguarding, trauma, mortuary, bereavement) with professionalism and empathy.
Deliver high standard ophthalmic photography, including imaging for FFA and ICG.
Ensure ethical consent, image quality, legal compliance, and secure archiving.
Ensure data protection, maintain image databases, and support clinical trials with consistent imaging protocols.
Management, coordination and governance of clinical photography imaging services across the Trust, ensuring quality and compliance.
Coordinate photographic and video productions, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
Provide creative and technical expertise in graphic design - in line with Trust branding, accessibility standards, and service needs.
Deliver in-house print production services to support clinical, educational, and promotional materials across the Trust.
Maintain and manage equipment, stock, and administrative systems including payment handling.
Support income generation by identifying new opportunities and managing resources efficiently.
