HMA is seeking an experienced Medical Media & Communications Manager to join our award-winning digital agency, working on a key client account within the medical and healthcare sector.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a confident and organized communicator with medical marketing experience to lead advertising and communications projects across multiple channels. You will work in a highly regulated environment, supporting a major healthcare client with impactful campaigns requiring precision, creativity, and clarity.

We are looking for someone with excellent project management skills, stakeholder confidence, and a passion for compliant, compelling medical communications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Multiple Campaigns: Coordinating planning, execution, and delivery of various medical communication projects across digital and print media.
  • Creating Advertising Assets: Overseeing development of advertising materials by collaborating with in-house copywriters and designers to ensure high-quality, compliant assets. Note: media booking is handled by the client’s media agency.
  • Content Development: Working with medical copywriters and the account director to shape content that meets brand and regulatory standards, including creating content directly when appropriate.
  • Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships with client contacts, aligning project priorities across teams.
  • Ensuring Process Compliance: Adhering to medical regulations and QA procedures, maintaining momentum, and meeting deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 5–10 years of agency experience, particularly with healthcare or pharmaceutical clients.
  • A strong understanding of medical marketing regulations and compliance needs.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills to handle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate complex requirements into clear briefs.
  • Confidence working with creative and marketing teams to deliver top-tier advertising solutions.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for strategic, evidence-based communications.

Potential projects include:

  • Developing multi-format promotional materials for healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Coordinating promotional and non-promotional advertising across platforms.
  • Supporting stakeholder presentations, congress materials, and campaign launches.
