You will manage broker relationships across the UK healthcare broking market, assess and price risks, contribute to policy wording and endorsements, and help shape underwriting guidelines while maintaining an active

• Demonstrable experience writing and developing new business.
• Established relationships within the UK healthcare broking market.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

Overview

Avencia are partnered with a growing MGA who are looking to recruit an Underwriter to continue to grow its UK medical malpractice portfolio. This is a market-facing position with a strong emphasis on developing broker relationships, generating new-business opportunities and underwriting medical malpractice risks.

The organisation writes a broad range of primary and secondary healthcare risks, including GP practices, clinics, diagnostics providers and occupational health businesses. You'll join an experienced underwriting team and have considerable autonomy to manage your own broker relationships, diary and development activity.
