Senior Underwriter – New Line of Business

Location: London / Hybrid

A new growing MGA is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Underwriter to join their team and play a key role in expanding the business into new lines of business.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter who is looking for more than simply managing an established book. You will have the opportunity to implement, develop and take ownership of a new class of business, helping shape the proposition, establish the underwriting strategy and build a profitable portfolio from the ground up.

You will have genuine autonomy and influence over the development of the class, working closely with the wider business to establish the proposition, develop broker relationships and drive growth.

The Role

• Take ownership of the development and implementation of a new line of business.
• Develop and execute the underwriting strategy for the class.

About You

Looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter or Development Underwriterwho has a strong technical and commercial underwriting background. Open to those from a range of bacgrounds, however, experience across Financial Lines, Professional Risks, Marine or Energy would be of particular interest.

Ideally, you will have:
