Job Summary:

Responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting specimens for the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in clinical laboratory science or biological, chemical, or physical sciences from an accredited institution, and completion of a twelve-month clinical laboratory training program approved by the U.S. Department of Education or accredited by NAACLS, or equivalent.
  • Certification as a medical laboratory scientist (e.g., ASCP) within 6 months of employment, or
  • Associates Degree in clinical laboratory science or related field, with completion of a similar training program and certification within 6 months of employment.
