Job description

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic committed individual to join our team to support the delivery of tissue diagnostics for both Lincolnshire NHS Trusts.

Responsibilities

• Specimen reception and data entry
• Sample processing
• Microtomy and slide filing
• Equipment maintenance and general laboratory tasks
• Participate in a rotational rota between 08:00 and 17:30, including Saturday and Sunday on a rotational basis when necessary competencies have been achieved

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy skills (ideally GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics and English)
• Confidence in the use of information technology (IT) and other complex equipment
• Communication with a range of healthcare professionals
• Previous experience working within a process and adhering to tight guidelines and standard operating procedures would be an advantage
