A regional healthcare provider in the UK is looking for candidates to join the Histopathology Department. Roles will include performing routine tasks, assisting with tissue dissection, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The successful candidates will work primarily at Airedale General Hospital, contributing to a quality care environment. The selected candidates will be expected to perform routine daily tasks which include receipt of pathological specimens, assisting with the pathological dissection of tissue, input of data, block and slide filing. In addition to the retrieval and filing of blocks and slides from St Lukes Hospital and the daily maintenance of equipment and machinery used.
The Department of Histopathology is ISO15189:2012 accredited and is also a recognised HCPC / IBMS training laboratory. Location: Histopathology Department, Airedale General Hospital and other Trust sites as appropriate. The successful candidates will rotate throughout the laboratory inclusive of both Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and participate in activities in each area.
