A healthcare organization in Greater Manchester is looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant to support Blood Sciences and other departments. The role involves entering patient data into the lab IT system, assisting with specimen handling, and performing clerical work. Ideal candidates will have good customer care and data entry skills. This position requires flexibility for late shifts and weekends. Offers a competitive benefits package.
PAWS has been formed from the merger of Pathology Services at Salford Royal Hospital and Wigan, Wrightington and Leigh Hospitals. The post is based at Wigan, but you may be required to work at other sites.
You will be required to work late shifts, weekend shifts and nights on a rota basis.
